Question for Tanabe Springs users...
I just installed a set of Tanabe NF-210 springs. The drop is very nice however I'm hearing a squicking noise coming from the front springs like if the coils are touching one another. We did put the rubber protector from factory springs on them bottom coils but there is no protector on the upper coils. Is there anybody there with same issue? What can I do stop the noise? The work was done perfect by a member that has installed more than 10 suspension on Z's before. I was thinking of buying more springs insulator to see if that would do the trick but i can't find anywhere. Please comment...
I had a 2000 prelude, I was experienced at installing springs/struts, and still somehow managed to install the right front spring upside down! they were tanabes also. the only way i could tell was a slight squeek i would get from that side. i know you say the guy who installed them was experienced, but anything is possible. just a heads up
