Default New Brakes Installed (EBC, Nismo , Motul) **PICS**

Hey guys I had my brakes installed a few weeks ago and I figured I'd tell everyone what I think of them so far. I have EBC discs, Nismo R-Tune pads and used Motul RBF600 fluid. I am very happy with the performance the feel good seem to bite nice and linear. I haven't done to much spirited driving that would demand a lot out of the brakes yet but the odd late brake for a couple corners around town.

Some members on the forum have experienced a clicking from these rotors. I get a very faint noise but nothing that really bothers me. Overall I am really happy with the set-up. In a perfect world I would have gone to a big brake kit but for the money I think this was a good option.

Here are some pics.

They are the right way. First close pic is the front and the second is the rear.

Now you just need some paint job on the caliper

First congrats. How much did this all cost you??? I can't tell if they are on backwards but my StopTech slotted rotor's slot does face the oppsite direction.

Looks like they are put wrong to me unless the manufacturer reversed the air vanes.

Here's how they are suppose to be

I think the vanes are actually suppsoed to go the same way as the rotor turn. (starting from the inside out) not facing the wind. it helps the gases escape better or something. or maybe that is the drilled holes.. I dunno.

neat stuff. I wish I had brembos too I am not willing to invest money to upgrade these single piston POS. I'm just going to wait for a deal!

He has them on correct as, I have the same rotors and they go that way. They are labeled left and right on the rotors.

According to Stoptech, the slot direction makes no difference. It only matters if there are internal veins that are directional. The EBC rotors are like stock inside, so they are non directional.

I installed these on my car back in April and after doing all the work I stood back and thought the same thing even though I made sure the R was on the right side and the L was on the left side. I had to do a double take.

THATS what it was! the internal vanes!! I knew it was some kind of vanes I think that is the best direction though.

The slots are basically to clean anyway it doesn't matter which way they are angled. Looks nice, and yeah, paint the calipers.
