I installed EBC rotors and pads on my 03, but I'm not sure if I did a bad job, or installed something incorrectly. I'm getting a very strange swish swish noise when I'm not even applying the brakes. When I do apply the brakes they are pretty loud with a similiar swish. Also, I did not bleed my brakes, and they just dont feel right. I plan to get back down there asap, and check em out.

I run these centric rotors in the rear on the track and have been very pleased.

Not a big fan of drilled rotors myself.

I run Brembo slotted.

I just installed EBC rotors and Hawk HPS pads. They come with slips that say the rotor will make noise for aprox 1k miles. Mainly when they are being broken in. I am not sure why they make noise but the rotors are slotted and dimpled. So far they look pretty nice, and brake well, I will update after 1k miles to let you guys know if the noise is gone. The price for the rotors is very reasonable, and for the Brembo it is probably one of the least expensive rotors available.

EBC Sport rotors are not drilled, they are dimpled, so they are not prone to cracking like drilled but still have a drilled look. Mine do make the swooshing sound although not as loud as described above (there is a notice on the box about it) but it is noticeable with the windows down up next to the K rail at 11k miles. I think the cad plating looks less than stellar behind my silver wheels but probably better than rust.

I am switching to Track Brembos soon and decided to go with the Ultimax EBC rotors instead, they are supposed to be nearly as quiet as stock but with slots. Looking at them compared to the stock rotors, other than the slots they are identical down to the machining on the edge and inside the hats. Then they are coated in black something that is supposed to keep them from rusting.

On an aside, I ordered both sets from the OPs link along with EBC pads and K&N oil filters for the shelf and had it all both times within a week.

Two rotors for that price. One left, one right.

The site clearly says you get two rotors. I also ordered my EBC rotors from that site.

did the price of these go up recently. I didn't order them before and was looking to buy them today and noticed the price seemed higher.

Yes, it seems they figured out they were selling them cheaper than anyone else on the web.

had mine for a couple of years now, no problems. Mine were black also, not the zinc colored ones. The noise isn't noticeable from inside the car with windows up and radio on, they were an easy install. I'm using hawk hps pads and did the bedding on them and it's been fine, no squeal.
