Default EBC brake rotor difference

hey whats up everyone. i was lookin at the rotors made by EBC. i saw that one of them is slotted and dimpled and the other is slotted. i know what dimple means but what contribution does it give. i dont do autox or drift. i do drive my car every now and then. give me some opinions or should i just get the slotted ones. thanks guys

From the EBC website......

The wider slot actually draws cool air across the pad surface keeping pads and rotors cooler. They also expel dust, dirt and hot gases better than fine slots which eventually fill with rust and scale and become ineffective in our opinion.
The blind drilled holes break down surface gases when braking from speed but do not weaken the rotor cross section as can happen with through drilling, thereby lessening the chance of rotors cracking over time and heavy use.

The ones with the wide slots are very noisey, much louder than powerslots or even the cheap ebay rotors.

For street use, the narrow slots give a little better cooling than no slots. While not as much cooling as the wide slots and dimples, you will still be able to hear and enjoy your exhaust during coastdown and braking

Whichever one weights the most is often the best clue..........even 3 ounces counts [1%].
