Need help on coilover!!
Hey guys, I need some help on picking the coilovers. There are just too many choices,I dont know which one to go with. Basically all I need is the look and some improve for the handling.By the look i meant i hope it will be full length adjestable which allow me to drop more than 1.5" rear . And for the handling as for most coilovers will do better than stock so ill leave this ......From what i know Hks RS and LS+ will giv the low i want. What else will give me the slame look ( im just saying slame cuz i can alwayz lower it for show and adjust it bak to driveable height ) By the way compare with RS and LS+ which is better besides the handling(i know RS should giv better handling).

mmmm....I say you go with the Tein Comfort Sport Set up....just came out for the Z 2 months ago...rais the car 1.4 inches ABOVE STOCK, and lower it almost 2 inches below stock......or keep it stock height....so the range is very good, and it's a great suspension for the Street...better than the Flex in My opinion

HKS Hipermax RS. It will improve the ride quality as well as the cars ability to corner. RS = Racing Sport. The Tein Comfort Sport is aimed more towards comfort then having a sporty feel.

that's why I said Tein Comfort sport....he didn't say he was going to the track...he said any improved handling over stock...he is looking for the "LOOK of a slammed ride" so the teins might be cheaper...not sure of the price of the HKS...

The HKS LS+ is essentially the same as an RS (dampner wise), both have 32 way adjsutment and the valving is almost identical. The LS+ uses 9 kg/mm front rates and 8 kg/mm rears. The RS uses 8 kg/mm and 8kg/mm. I got my coilovers used from protocav who had already switched his front springs with Swift springs that were 8 kg/mm so its essentially an RS. I don't find my coilover harsh at all. Its a pretty smooth ride but my handling is far better then when I had springs installed. I just need to change my sway bar settings now as full stiff rear gives me JUSt a little bit too much over steer. And as an FYI most Tein coilovers are twin tube design. ALL HKS coilovers for this car are monotube with inverted struts in the rear. I would take a quality monotube dampner over a twin tube any day of the week.

The Bilstein are absolutely fantastic for a street driven car - no question about it. Among the nicest riding units out there, with superb build quality, a proven name with exceptional post sale product support, and meaningful dampening changes between soft and stiff.
In fact, these coilovers are so good on the Z, that in many foreign markets, the Bilstein are a Nissan endorsed option that can be ordered with the car

Whats the lowest does Bilstein PSS9 allow you to drop on Z ( up front and rear)??? any spec for bilstein pss9??? hows that compare with hks RS ???
Im about to get the hks RS but the bilstein is cheaper ...><....since my main point is the drop and some improve for cornering....not the whole track thing,but i wish i could get something with the drop i hope(slame all the way whenever i want to), streetable (comfort isnt a big issue), and track if i got time one day .....so after the search buttom HKS RS gives everything i need .... just not sure what else will give me the same and quality with less $$ so i can save up for the next...^^

I never understand how people can say they want something streetable but comfort is not a big deal - those are complete opposite sentences.
