I have no idea what your motive is in asking the question, but to me, answering it deserves more then a one sentance because of differances in each car over the years.

2003-2004 350Z
314/342 spring rates

vs

2003-2006 G35 coupe with oem 17" or 18" wheels
314/342 spring rates
================
Z shocks are totally different with a whole lot more compression dampning and not enough rebound control. Known for excessive bounce and porposing, they don't behave any better when used on a G35. Buy D-specs or Koni sports.

2004.5-2006 350z (revised suspension)
314/427 spring rates

vs

2005-2006 G35 coupe with oem 19" wheels
314/427 spring rates
===============
The shocks between the two cars and not the same, at least not by part numbers. They are closer in valving, though I would not argue with anyone that said in back to back drives they feel the same.

In either case, both oem Z setups have shock valving that is stiffer then any G coupe with oem 17 or 18 inch wheels.
