There's no point in scraping your exhaust piping. I started looking at these for the exact opposite reason. I needed a spring that didn't lower the car too much from stock.
I'm still thinking about going back to the stock rear springs for stiffness. It might get me to rotate faster, but I do like being able to hammer the throttle through the apex with the swift setup. hmm. thoughts welcome.
