Default Hotchkis sway bars

Has anyone installed them, how do you like them, and what settings do you have on front and rear?

Default Love them...

I have the front set in the middle (3 set points), and the rear set up for a soft ride. I couldn't ask for more. The car handles awesome. FYI, mine is lowered with Tanabe Springs (1 1/4 inch drop), and I am running 19inch wheels also. 19x9 fronts, and 19x10.5 rears.

That's funny. Because my front sway bars have 4 settings.

The new version has four adjustments, the older versions just had three.

I have the old and love them! Amazing difference. Mine are both at the mid setting. Just fool around with them. I'd say set both at either of the 2 medium settings you have, drive it around and then try something new when you get a chance (oil change, bored and feel like jacking up your car, etc)

I have them and love them.

As far as set up - it depends on your cars set up and your driving prefrence. That is why you buy an adjustable sway bar - so you can tune it.

If we tell them to set them on med/med and test with the willingness to make changes if at the limit behavior isn't to their liking, it covers most everyone here.

I have mine set to med/med (also the hotchkis springs installed). Very firm ride. Although people that have never ridden in my car find it brutal, it's not uncomfortable to me.

Mine are set to medium and with my h-tech springs and koni shocks..

Terms like riding on a rail and glue come to mind...

Best mod I think.

I disagree - I think when you start out with your sway bars you should start with them set up for understeer, then test it out and slowly tune the car. This is a far safer condition for a unexperienced driver to handle than to set up the car from a get go with Oversteer. Telling a person with a different tire width and suspension set up to put it on a condition that could cause sever oversteer could mean that the driver wrecks the car when testing.

This is why Hotchkis recommends you start off with stiff in front and soft in thre rear. Then start to test and tune. If you are unwilling to test and tune - I suggest you just stick with stock. And if you are willing - you will be very pleased with the results! Changing the set up on the bars is probably one of the easiest things you can do to the car!

Thanks for the input. Yes, I'm willing to test, and test,if I have to. I like hearing that changing the setup is easy. (the hardest part being actually getting under the vehicle)
