wow thanks new thing to look for

so now do any coil overs come ready to pop in with top mount for $1000 or less

or now cause i want top mounts i need to spend more than $1000

The Megan coilovers have top mounts. I'm 99% sure the Tanabe's do as well.

and either megan or tanabes coil overs still in my $1000 budget , and simply swap old for new

and i do not have to resurect any old hardware to install new coilovers cause the new come with all needed fatseners and top bracket

thanks a million


now i will just shop for best price

What coilover has the softest ride? I want to lower my 06 about an inch all around but don't want my ride to be too harsh.

Just FYI, but I would rather lose a ******** than have Megan suspension. IMO.

I would say that the Eibach Sportlines or the Sprint springs would be best for you. I believe the sprints are a lower drop. Of course, you'd need some shocks, probably the Tokico shocks. Adjust the stiffness to your liking.

Of course, I would never recommend either spring to anyone who was trying for performance.

I've got the HKS Hypermax RS coilovers on my 06 and I love them. I'm dropped about about 3/4" in front and 1" in the back. The ride is suprisingly smooth and feels only slightly stiffer than stock.

yea the tien s techs are looking more like the best solution for a basic drop with no loss in performance and camber issues.

I've had bad experience with lowering springs and aftermarket shocks. If the combination of spring rate and shock doesn't work hand in hand, you've got a suspension nightmare. I've been wanted to lower my Z lately with tax money. Debating on the tein S and the tein basics. So far I've heard nothing but good things about tein S and as for the tein basics, there is so much competition in that price range that it makes it hard to deciede to go with the basics.

I too, want added perfermance and comfort, performance first but comfort close. I've never really heard about Megan coilovers, but the adjustablity is very attractive.

Still, I'm undecieded.
