I have the HKS hipermax RS and with the initial lowered ride height by HKS, I scraped my y-pipe both of my y-pipe flex joints badly (I'm extremely frustrated). The instruction manual does not tell you the rate of height increment(mm/turn) ? Anyone have any ideas of what it is? I need to get the car back to stock ride height.

I installed them for better stiffness and handling. Don't really care about the look although lowering the car does help with the handling but I don't want to be scraping the underbody all the time.
to avoid scraping, you need to change your driving habits and be aware of where you plan to drive to and the road conditions along that path to destination...that's the sacrifice of being low; if it is in fact LOW

Since the RS doesn't have full length adjustment for height. In the front you gain height by adding spring preload. Any amount that you push the spring upwards with the adjustment collar should equal height gained. Would be curious to know how much preload you have now, though I'm sure you have no way of knowing.
In the rear, since the height adjustment system is mounted at the top, you would spin the adjustment system down to gain rear height. If you run out of rear height gain with the system. You could in theory craft a spacer and slip it above the upper mount to gain height. However, since the rear dampner limit's travel you would be inducing even greater level's of spring preload.

I'll save you some trouble...you are not going to get to stock rideheight with the HKS RS.
As suggested, dampers out of the car, lay it next to your stock spring/shock combo and use a tape measure to get you as close as possible

Uh that's bad...do the dampers have to be taken off? I'm having this done at shop so i certainily don't want to pay for more labor. Doesn't exactly have to be stock, probably as high as it can go(obviously lower than stock)
my car's a G35C by the way
according to the manual the HKS hipermax RS has a preset. -20mm front and -10mm rear.
Think i could get it to -5mm front -5mm rear at least?
