Default Tanabe NF210 question

Ok. I keep hearing stuff about people installing lowering springs, that say fro instance drop the car an inch, and then a month later have dropped another half an inch. How many people have experinced this, and shouldn't someone be telling the manufacturers about the little fukup? I'm interested in getting the NF210, but i need to know if anyone has experienced this problem with these springs.

Also, i haven't seen many pics of people with the NF210's, I was wondering if you guys could post some up. Cheers.

Not many people buy the NF210's but I did and love them! Here is a pic of mine. I installed them and rode on them for about 2 months, the stance was basically even but I wanted it a bit lower in the front. I cut 1/4 turn from the front springs which was perfect. 2 1/2 years later my ride height is the same. I'm very happy.

When people say the car drops an additional 1/2" or whatever after a few months, it's basically the springs just wearing in a bit. The only way to avoid having them "break in" is to make them super tight and that would kill ride quality. Some springs break in farther than others but overall it's usually not a big deal.

The ride is firm and sporty. The 03's stock springs were a bit too firm and the car use to be a bit bouncy on the highway, NF210's corrected that. I love the ride but its definately firm as they are Linear not Progressive springs.

Tanabe NF210 Series 350Z linear springs 1.2”/1.2”
Spring rates in LBS 314/353
Stiffer then oem 2003-2004 springs by F+0 R+3%

Oem springs are not stiff, 03/04 oem shocks have a lot of compression dampning that will make's the car "feel" stiff. Toss in a measure of rather poor rebound control and you have the receipe for the bounce and freeway porposing that is well known.

I have the Tanabe NF210 and the height has not change in 2 and a half years. Here is a picture of my car with the springs.

Good example of looks winning over common sense, prokits are a better choice if you have to be that low on springs and shocks.
