Default Whoops, forgot pic

Here's a pic showing the drop on my LS Touring. This (the drop) is only an attractive by product as far as I am concerned, because the real benefit is the ride upgrade the Eibachs give both in performance and comfort. Oh, yes, my prized quad tips are history now with the addition of the GHL exhaust system today. Regards, Jim

Default Todd

Hey back to ya'! Great to see you on again. I wondered where you were as I missed seeing your posts lately.
What do you mean temporarily out this way? Man, you have one long drive from El Mirage to Scottsdale!
Yeah, there is no hiding when I am in the Z! It is looking better and better everyday. I am headed for the detailer this morning as he has some "New wonder finish" and he wants to use my car as a testbed for it. That works for me as I leave one week from today for TMOART. (The Mother Of All Road Trips!) and 6k miles over the next 6 weeks with a good finish applied won't hurt. Regards, Jim

Default Detailer

Perry is the owner over at European Detail Specialists. ((602) 956-6464. He has a very high line shop over at 20st and Indian School. Nothing but Lambo's, Maserati's and the occasional Ferrari in his place! It is an experience just to walk thru his place. Why he has taken my Z under his wing with all those exotics is beyond me! He is VERY good.
Whoa, z06 eh? Guess I really have to spray now huh? Regards, Jim

ls6/z06 motor swap
Uh wait a sec Todd, lets back up. You can't just drop that in here and leave

LS6 intake manifold and a Z06 409 HP engine? Is that your SS?
What else has been done? Stock Z06 engine, cam heads etc?

Links?

I had the LS6 setup in my Hawk and almost broke out into the 11's with the 345HP RAM Air set-up (heavily modded.)

You should be in the 11's and need roll cage?

Details in a PM or something man!

I absolutley love the Z06, actually drove one Heads up display was awesome and the clutch was like butter. 80k though. That would have meant divorce for me. I remember you saying you had a SS though is the top manifold orange or red?

2000 SS...long tubes, true dual, 3500 stall, pcm, 03 ls6 crate motor. I need to tweak the PCM to take full advantage of this motor...I should get some dyno tuning shortly.

Awesome Todd.

What is the top end limited on that beast, I hear they love the freeway more than the 1/4.

You know you can get the HyperTech 160 Stat and Power Programmer for that car right?

I reccomend it.

I'll make this the last off subject post.

My previous ls1 pre converter went 170 per autotap readings.
(limiter deleted)

Ive got a 160 stat and a handheld Diablo progammer which is light years beyond the hypertech unit.

This new motor lives above 4000. from 4000-6600 its an absolute screamer. Im considering dropping the converter out and entering Silver State next go around.
