I would like to be able to launch the car (ie drag racing) without excessive wheel spin. What suspension mod or mods are available that will help the car hook up off the line? Also, what are the negative effects of such mods (ride height low, camber misadjusted, etc)?

You might have better luck asking that question over at HybridZ.org. They deal mostly with early Zs, but most of them are racers, and know how to modify an independant rear for the strip.
