Default Caliper Decals

Getting my Z ready to sell this summer. I'm taking my Stop Tech BBK off and am planning to sell. I'm planning on painting my stock calipers to make them look a little nice. I seem to remember from awhile ago there were '350Z' (vinyl?) decals you could put on the calipers after painting. Are these still available and where? Any help is appreciated.

(Just so I don't get flamed... I did a quick search but couldn't find what I was looking for. Too tired and have to get up early. Hopefully someone has an answer for me lol.)

Would decals on the caliper even stay on? It would probably be in your best interest to paint a base coat, apply the decal, and then paint the actual color you want the caliper, and remove the decal after that so you have the basecoat lettering show up.

Send a PM to "JVD Graphics", he makes them.

They stick fine on brake calipers. As the calipers heat up, the stickers permanantly bond. They are not decals, they are a special vinyl.

Consider the "Nissan" decals instead of the "350Z" ones. They Nissan looks better with the curve of the caliper.

There was a kid on here that did a detailed writeup where he painted and used the decals. I think he wrote it back in July or August if that helps.

Good Luck!

Bump on JVC - I just painted mine red (G2) and bought the Nismo Stickers from him, and they look great!

Do you know what type of vinyl it is?

Nope. It's something that is resistant to high temps and bonds by heating it up. I have tracked my car on several occasions so my brakes have gotten very hot. I wash the calipers regularly and the stickers look just as good today as they did two years ago when I applied them.
