Default 06 ZR 1st suspension mod

I want to add mods to suspension peice by peice as money allows. Obviously money is an issue. I would like my ZR to handle as well as possible and still keep as much of its street character as possible. I do on on occasion drive the car very hard as I am close to the Dragon and like roads. Any help in making choices for modifications are appreciated. If you would also give your reasons why you recommend it would be helpful.

TIA

Well, i have the nismo suspension and sways - not quite sure the effect it would have installing the sways on stock suspension( I assume the same as with the nismo suspension), but i know when i had both installed, the sways definitely reduced body roll. Feels like the car is on rails now. I love the set-up although i wouldnt mind a more aggressive drop. but then you start dealing with camber issues and what not, so i decided to go with the nismo set-up.

Happy modding!

You should check out the Hotchkis Sway bar, I have them on my car and they have improved the handing alot.

I added the Nismo sways last year and in a month or two I'll install the remainder of the S-Tune suspension. I realize I did this in reverse order from what is usually recommended, but money was an issue at the time and I opted to go with the sways first, knowing I'd do the coils/shocks eventually. Although I didn't have the stock sways on too long, I can tell you I noticed a definite difference in body roll with the Nismo bars. A bit flatter, and better turn in. I'm looking forward to seeing what the handling will be like after the remainder of the suspension is in place.
