Default My Brembo dust boots are poppin out!!

I was lazy after my last track event and waited a while before putting my street brake pads back in up front. It's less than a 10 minute job per side, but I have just been busy. So I pop the wheel off and get the track pads out and I notice the dust boots around one of the pistons has popped all the way out and another is half out. The rubber looks pretty damn fried too on the ones that were out and cracked and frayed on the ones that were still in. I used some brake parts cleaner and put them back into place. I wonder if it was just the high heat of the 6 lapping days I have done in this car so far, or if this is going to be a problem for everyone. Dealers won't even attempt to rebuild brake calipers so after the car is out of warranty, people are going to either have to learn how to replace these themselves, or buy new calipers ofter.

Are these the little accordian looking rubber pieces? When painting my calipers I noticed brake fluid on one of these, and was a bit worried. I wiped it all off, and have not seen any new fluid come out, and my brakes function well. Is this the same thing you are talking about?

This also happened to me after my track day! Could someone post the instructions for cleaning and inserting?

Raceboy, I know you said you repaired it yourself, but have you brought it to the dealer's attention?

Thanks
