Question about replacing Track Brembo brake rotors
I'm planning to replace the rotor that I have for my Track stock Brembo. I want a 13' or 14' Cross Drilled/Slotted 2-piece rotor. I thought just replacing rotors would not require any major modification but from the other thread I was informed by Avalon Racing that it is not possible unless I also replace the caliper accordingly.
Does this apply to all makers of rotors? There are quite many brands out there that makes decent qualities of high performance brake rotors and even single of them wouldn't fit in my stock brembo setup? I know brembo also makes Drilled rotor so that it would most likely fit my Track Brembo setup but I'm also looking for another alternatives.
So, basically, do I have to upgrade the whole brake system in order to get the rotor I wanted? This sounds a little bit unrealistic.

You can buy replacement rotors for your Brembo brakes. A few online stores are now beginning to sell them (Stillen, Avalon, Gruppe-S).
But, they will not be larger diameter than what you have and they will not be two-piece. The one exception is Disk Brakes Australia... they are working on a stock-sized Brembo replacement that is two-piece.
The opening in your Brembo caliper for the rotor is not wide enough for a rotor larger than 28mm wide. Also, the caliper will have to be relocated outward to accept a larger rotor. I doubt anyone will make a bracket that moves the OEM Brembo caliper since the caliper and mounting bracket are all one piece on the OEM Brembos.
If you want a bigger front rotor, you will have to go with an aftermarket kit like the Brembo Gran Tourismo, Stoptech, AP, etc, etc.
Hope that helps.

Thanx for the input guys
So..basically I CAN get the Drilled/Slotted but they are not 2 pieces.. and they are same size as the stock which is 12.7...
Well if it is at least 13' I'm fine with it but that .3 inch difference would make things complex? Well as long as there are Drilled/Slotted rotors available for Track Brembo..it ain't that bad afterall...
