Default Borla and Hotchkis Sways

I'm a new Z owner (Merry Christmas me!) and am in beginning phases of a few mods and am wondering if the Borla true dual fits with the hotchkis sway bars on my 05 35th anniversary. The stock rear sway is not symetrical (has an odd shape for the bend for the OEM single exhaust piping). I've used the search and found alot about the borla and the sways but nothing that actually states this setup will work on the 2005 anniversary. Any input is appreciated.

Future mods I'm thinking about are Kenwood DDX 6019, Motordyne MREV2 and 5/16 spacer. Also, I just did the differential fluid change last night (17k miles) and original fluid was nasty, highly recommend this maintenance to those who haven't seen the thread and done it.

Thanks.

That bend is on the Hotchkis too, what exactly are you asking? Will it clear your borla? Well, is it true dual? or Single to dual tip? Also, a good thing would be to actually call hotchkis...........

Default Thanks!

Yes, that's a great suggestion, will do. Yes, the borla is the true dual system. When i was doing the diff fluid last night i was looking and was wondering how the routing of the true dual would work with the sway bar. If the piping goes under the sway then it may steal a little ground clearance. Here in Pittsburgh, unfortunately I can't go lower than stock....just isn't feasible in this town.
I'll call.

thanks again.

It fits, I installed that combo on my brother's car. If I remember correctly, one pipe goes over the sway bar and one goes under (where the bend is). I don't think you will lose any ground clearance.

if you have borla td already installed, you will have to drop part of the exhaust to install the rear sway. its a ***** to get those rear hangers off but you can do it!
