My Eibach springs should be in tomorrow and are slated to go on the car sometime tomorrow evening after work. I work in the automotive business so having this done is easy as pie but told the tech i would help out just to lend a hand. anyhow..............any tips/tricks that may help it go a little easier or faster? Just that little stuff that veterns have learned??
Thanks in advance...Bill

I got a tip. Loosen the nut on the top hat (part that holds the spring in) of the front struts before you take them off. It's on there pretty tight, you'll have a hard time unscrewing that w/o some good leverage. Other than that, it's pretty straight forward. Good luck!
is actually pretty easy. I did mine in 1 1/2 hour. Just do the front first because they are the most time consuming. I didn't use spring compressors. Make sure you have extra cotter pins in case you brake the one that are in the upper a-arm. Having a lift is a huge +. Having the top hat nut loose while you remove the shock is a good idea but also when you install them so you can line up the bolts easier. don't sweat it is easy, I didn't even get any bloody knuckles.
