Average lifespan of coilovers and rebuild prices
Has anyone had problems with shocks blowing out on their coilovers???
I was wondering if 18k of street driving is a lot of miles for a set of hks coils.
Also, how much is the average price of getting the coilover rebuilt??

I've got double that on my HKS's, with a mix of track and NY road driving
There is no set interval, or frankly even a recommended time - it varies by useage and the conditions they are subjected to.
I've owned coilovers on many cars going back about 10 years - I've yet to have to send a set back for rebuilding, despite track use, street use, etc.

Pretty vague question. A coilover could blow out within miles of your house or could go 100k miles. Just depends on the conditions that it is put through. 18k miles is not a lot when it comes to suspension. Luckily, if you do have a problem, HKS can take care of them for you.
