Default Hawk HPS install at dealership?

Don't know if this is in the right section or not. So please move as required moderators, not a problem. Anyways, I have the 30k maintenance coming up on my Z and was wondering if the dealership would put in the Hawk HPS pads I recently bought if I provided these to them? You know, just in place of the stock ones they would've thrown in. Sorry if that's a stupid question, but just curious. Thanks.

Some Dealerships May Refuse To9 Put Aftermarket Parts On A Car Because It Is Something They Cannot Guarantee But Could Be Held Responsible For.

Just do it yourself. It is quite easy.

I'd like to, but when it comes to safety I'm hesitant at playing around w/stuff. Especially if it's as a first-time DIY..

I own a bunch of cars. Z's, Miata, Boxster, Subaru, Chrysler to name a few. I often bring my own stuff. Brakes, rotors, shocks, synthetic oil & filter. Never had a problem with any dealer refusing to install my own stuff. I usually ask them when I am scheduling the appointment. Never had them turn me down. I understand the lack of comfort with doing your own brakes. I've seen it done many times and yes it is pretty simple if you have the correct tools and know what you are doing. But even after seeing it done many times I did not have the confidence, I always thought I would screw something up. Recently, I had a friend install pads with me and had him explain everything in detail. Yes it's not that tough, but you do need to do what you are doing.
