Default What performance pads should I use?

I have the Stoptech 14" big brake kit all the way around.

That means the 332mm ST-40's in front and the 355mm ST-45's in rear.

I go be going to willowsprings and cal speedway (roval) for HPDE3 sessions.

What pads would be best to use?

If you have the 14" all around, then you have 355mm all around.

Anyways... for your application since you run HPDE sessions we recommend club race or full race pads such as: Ferodo DS3000, Hawk DTC-70, or Performance Friction PFC01s in the front.

For the rears since your rotors are big enough that they are less likely to overheat, the pads that came with your kit will be sufficient. For rear pads I'd recommend replacing them with what they came with which are the OE Porsche pads.

If you are interested, I can get any of these for you. Just send me a PM or call me here and I'll gladly help you out.

Depending on the tires you are running and you budget there are a few options for you. If you are on street tires and want a good track pad that wont break the bank, Id look into the Hawk HT10 for the front. On track tires, it would take a lot to overheat them but you may want to step up to the PFC01 or DTC70. If you want more bite out of the rear system, the only option will be the BHP XPS since it is the best pad we offer for the ST45 calipers used out back on the 355mm kit. It can be driven on the street and track making only a front pad change necessary but tt has very good bite and a high temperature range.

Default Erik made the right call

Thanks to Erik at Stoptech and Justin at WC Nissan.

I went with the DTC-70's and the BKP XPS. WOW! the DTC's are really nice. I actually had to buy new tires (kind of needed them anyway) for those DTS's. The balance of the two pads is amazing.

Thanks again guys!
