Default Installed Tokico D-Spec FULL susp (shocks/springs)

I have to thank my friend Mark for all this because I would have never been able to get the deal and the help/knowledge anywhere else. Never would have thought I'd drop the Z this low but I just installed Tokico D-Spec full suspension...and I LOVE IT! The drop is 1" front and rear and it's absolutely heavenly to drive her now. It's beautiful to the point where it's like falling in love with the Z all over again like when I first drove her.

The D-Spec setup has 16 ways adjustable Isettings and I set mine at 4 turns from full hard front and rear. However, I'm thinking of adjusting the front even stiffer (3 turns). As of now I love it and the ride is like driving on rails. I need rear camber kit for the rear and after that I'm thinking about getting Stillen sway bars from Mark as well. I'll have some pics posted soon....kinda tired right now but getting rid of the tire feathering, the bouncy 03 suspension, and the huge wheel gap was well worth it!

I told you not to settle for anything less than an inch. Get the Eibach camber kit I mentioned earlier and you'll be set. Rosscoe up in Mt. Vernon can align your car very well to for a pretty good price.

Eibach kit is weak. Get battleversion. I have the same setup and its infinate settings between max hard and max stiff. I run it at 2 from full stiff front, 3 in the rear. No bounce, no highway bumps and good critical dampening.

Care to explain how you adjust the the stiffness of the eibach(SPC) camber arms and toe bolts?

He must be talking about something else. Obviously camber correcting items have zero effect on suspension feel.

Sounds good bro, how much does he charge. I need to find smeone to install clear bra before I take long drives though...I'm getting rock chips as it is.

The drop definitely was worth it. Some wooden planks got me up my driveway just fine. Now I just need to get a visual of all the "no-no" parking lots/driveways/entrances in the area. I am pretty sure I won't make into the Oldeggard parking garage lol.

He charges $60, which is much better than the $140 I was quoted at truline. He'll also let you specify your exact settings, and let you sit in the car so the alignment is set properly at its normal ride height and weight distribution

Im pretty sure the battle version arms dont affect toe, atleast from what Ive collected. It makes it possible to adjust camber w/o altering toe. If im wrong, im a douchebag and i remove my statement! lol.

They adjust camber the same way as every other camber arm on the market, so they all will affect the toe, so that doesn't make them better in that respect. They do have solid ends as opposed to the rubber ends that the eibach(spc) does on one end which could slightly improve movement, but not a significant amount.

I wouldn't say that makes you a douche, its arguable that the battleversion arms are better than the eibach(spc) arms, but they aren't a complet solution as they don't offer a toe adjustment method. A combination of their camber arms and spc toe bolts would make a great setup, be it at a significantly higher pricepoint

If you can get a shop to align the car with you in it for $60, that's a great deal. Most shops don't like aligning with you in the car for insurance reasons, but it does make a small difference in the weight distribution so I'd definetly do that.

thanks bro I'll try to contact him and set up a time. I like the idea of being able to get the alignment with me inside the vehicle

anyone know how much lower this would lower the g35 coupe?

I'm asking about the one made for the 350z (DSK512), looks like it has better spring rates than the ones for the g35

I believe it is 1.5" for the G and 1" for the Z

Local Z/G drivers are such whiny pussies!
I've seen/ridden in much lower cars than yours that are just fine in Ode.

I have a pic..
Riding on 275/40/18 rear, 245/40/18 front. Im going to switch to 275/35/18 front, 275/40/18 rear next time. Wider is better :-D The springs actually lowre the rear quite a bit. 1.5'' i'd say. It was dramatic..made the car look 5x better.
