Default 2007 z concern

every time i accelerate hard in first gear my parking break light comes on and then turns off. the car has been feeling funny any idea if this is normal?

maybe the parking brake is loose? i know my friends vr4 does the same thing...you can actually look at the ebrak handle go up a little bit during acceleration, quite funny actually.

Your "parking brake light" is also a low brake fluid indicator. There is a level switch in the reservoir cap.

You are low on brake fluid. And you probably either have a leak, or your pads need to be replaced.

Normally caused from fluid level shifting.

Well you were a great help now weren't you.

It is very possible that the brake fluid might not be fully toped off at the factory. Fill it up to the full line with the correct brake fluid. It will solve the light issue.
