does anyone know if my z should have the rotors re surfaced or should i just swap for better pads, my brakes are squeeking more and more. Any advice on which pads to go with, by the way my car has 10,500 miles should they be replaced?

 

Just because it's making noise doesn't mean it's bad. If it is making noise when you're not applying the brakes then your sensor is probably touching the rotor which usually means bye bye rotor.

Just lift the car, remove the tires and look at the condition and wear of the pads. If your pads are gone but the sensor isn't touching the rotor and you have 10k miles, you don't have to resurface the rotors just swap pads.
