Default Tein Basic alignment questions

A couple of questions about the Tein Basics. I did a search and I didn't seem to find any real answers

with the standard 1" or so drop...

1. Will an alignment be needed?

2. Will a camber kit/arms be needed?

thanks

Most likely, yes. After install, let springs settle then have checked out. If alignment is needed, then go ahead and buy the adjustable camber and toe kits. Small price to pay in the long run.

Have it with standard drop and yes to one and two. Might as well get the camber kits and install at the same time so you only have to get it aligned once.

1. Yes. No way around it, especially in the rear where you have to loosen the bolt's that set rear toe in order to removed and install the rear springs.

2.Yes. BUT, and this is why your searching didn't really come up with a easy answer. The amount that the front will be out brings a lot of guys to just shine on the cost of paying for a front camber correction solution. A far greater number of those same owners will however correct the rear of the car, usually with the SPC camber arm and toe bolt kit. You will have to decide if being out of camber spec in the front is worth the cost to correct or you may decide that the cost to install front camber arms AFTER the fact isn't worth the risk install cost wise or worth the risk tire wear wise.

Just to mention it, what you want to drop to is pretty much right at what Tein recommends to use for the Basic kit on the Z, 1"/.8" to be exact.
