Is this $5,000 really worth it?

I ran the rt615 falkens on my stock wheels at Sebring...they performed beautiful on the track after 30 minute sessions. Temperature went from 36 cold to 52 afterwards but never began to give out. They felt and looked like a drag slick afterwards(roughed off with rocks embedded in the tread lol). They wore great also, one track day, 2 auto-x, and 1000 miles daily driven since Im too lazy to put my 19s back on and there is plenty of life. I highly recommend them.

This setup will cost you a lot less AND perform better. Aside from the wheels, Nismo is over priced crap IMO.

True in one way, not true in another...
True because it will likely perform better and be cheaper.
Not true, because you'll enter "aftermarket" territory where you have to do better research and be more prepared for any further things requiring change.
If you go with NISMO then you pay more, but worry less.
The dealer cannot give you crap if something starts behaving funny.

For example stance:
great product, but true rear coilover...
There are threads about whether or not that is good for the Z.
If I remember correctly, the bushing is not made to withhold the full load both from damper and from spring compared to where the OEM spring sits.
Not sure if this is bogus or not....

So there is some value to what you pay more for NISMO, but it is up to you how much of a worry person you are and how much you know car mechanics... and can make your own sound decisions when going aftermarket.

If you are going to go for the Nismo and want to save some cash go to Ebay and look for stuff sold by brinster34.
He always Ebaying Nismo wheels for cheap. He can also get the rest for you. He is a dealer somewhere in VA. I have the S-Tune with the sways and they are awesome together.

I would agree with everything but the wheels myself. The Falken azzenis are AMAZING tires and cheap as well. Nismo susp isnt too terribly much better than stock, I would go with a diff company if I were you.
