I know this question has been beaten to death, and I've done the search and read the posts, but I want to see if I've got this right --

I plan to buy a Z as a daily driver and frequent, weekend autocrosser -- 1-mile, airport, solo style tracks.

The conclusion I'd draw from the posts I've read is --

I should buy a track so I can have the Brembos & warranty and Rays,

or:

I should buy a Performance/Touring and plan on adding a Big Brake kit at an added cost of ~ $4000 additional.

If I don't have this right, please give me your take! Thanks.

 

Track model = stock class.
Touring model + big brake kit = Prepared class, or Street Mod
