Default Lookin For Brakes, Did research, found no solution

Was doin research on here and links from here for my 350z (sittin on staggered 20's) and couldnt come up with a solution. all i got at the end of the day was that rotors are all metal and expensive brands just slap a brand name on them and charge a grip when u can buy ebay rotors that are slotted and do just as good a job. main point is i need rotors, badly, my current stock ones (30,000 miles) are lookin like a plate! any suggestions lookin for economical prices. good lookin on da info

Centric sells various PREMIUM grades of plain surface decent rotors we use them in our 3 independent shops when our Lexus and Infiniti customers don't want to pay the cost of oem. About 80% chose Centric vs oem.

Not sure why people think all rotors are made equally.

not for nothing but if thats the conclusion you came up with, you didn't really look into this carefully enough

not all rotors are created equal by any means. While its true that the most expensive solution is not always the best, it's far from true that el cheapo rotors are good, or even decent.

So, the first thing to decide for yourself is what you are using the car for. Given that you've got 20's, I'm going to venture its purely street use. What pads are you running or do you intend to run (since your rotors are in that poor a shape, your pads are shot too). From there, it's easier to make recommendations

you can order front and rear slotted or drilled discs from brembo for about $250 for all four wheels.

Why would you skimp on brakes?

Brembo contracts for various GRADES of blanks at various price points to service the world market.

The question is where was the cast iron poured and what among the 6 grades it was?
