Default Suggestions for Brake Pads....

I am needing some new brake pads for my touring 6spd (so 18" wheels).

I am wanting something for 95% street driving and 5% AutoX.
I would like something with low dust, easy on the rotors, and not horribly expensive.

Suggestions for pads (front & rear) and places to buy them?

Thanks
Ja

Default Carbotech

Matt at Carbotech can help with pad selection. The Panther xp series that I'm using has worked well on road courses but is overkill for street. just call him and he'll be able to help you1-877-899-5024.

JELLEDGE:
How many miles do you have on your Touring?
I have close to 8K miles and my brakes are starting to screech... maybe I'm using too much brakes.

I'd go for the Ferodo DS2500s, which can be ordered from Andy at Cobalt Friction. Matt at Carbotech has a good reputation as well.

Default SLVR Z

I have about 9000 miles on my Touring. I have been to 3 AutoX's so far this year. No problems with my brakes at all save the damn dust.

What kind of driving do you do in your Z? Sometimes the pads the can get glazed or maybe there is something else going on.
