Default Tein S Tech Spring Pictures Needed

Hey everyone, I want to get springs to lower my Base '06 on the stock struts, and have decided on Tein S-Techs, because, from what I have read, they offer a good ride and a nice looking stance. I have read that they are softer than the stock springs, does anyone know if this is true or how they handle? I also really need to see pictures of the wheel well gap on cars that run the S-Techs before I buy them. I know that these pictures are out there but i have searched for hours and only found a few good ones. Any help or pictures would be appreciated.

just compare the stock springrates against the s-techs. Also the front s-tech springs are progressive while stocks are linear. It also depends on what year Z you have as the springrates changed in 04.5

I think the s-tech puts the car to a proper stock hight, the fronts are stiffer by quite a bit and the backs are just a bit softer (within 15lbs if i remember correctly).

My before

after

Thank you guys, the pictures and comments really helped. I have decided that I will get the S.Techs and H&R spacers.

S Tech's in stock...and since we're in NY, you get em in a day

Spacers, we can get the H&R (pricey though) or Ichiba

Quick questions:

1. With Tein S springs, i will not need to get a camber kit, right?

2. The drop is slightly higher than nismo s-tune susp? about .5" - .7" in rear?

Thanks for help.. i think this is right but want to be 100% sure.. I think this will be next mod...

EDIT: Some people are saying that they love the S tech, some are saying the a$$ barelly dropped if at all, some are saying its a little higher... what the deal??? Should i go with the hotchicks (umm sp?) or maybe eibach pro kit? i dont want the drop lower than .8"... dont want to get camber kits.. i have an 05, so that should be a factor too..

you can do a springmount mod to the rear to even out the drop

You won't need it with the H-techs, you you will with the S-techs

Tein H-tech G35 coupe .6“/.3“(fronts are progressive, rears are linear)
Spring rates in lbs 324/260 (final rates only, softer intial front progressive rate unknown)

Tein S-tech G35 coupe 1.2”/.9” (fronts are progressive, rears are linear)
Spring rates in LBS 358/274 (final rates only, softer intial front progressive rate unknown)

Just to mention it your 04 oem G35 coupe spring rates are 314/342

So you can see how the G35 and 350Z Tein springs differ.

Tein H-tech 350z linear springs
350Z drop .3"/.2"
G35 coupe drop .8”/.6”
Spring rates in LBS 358/375

Tein S-tech 350Z springs (fronts are slightly progressive, rears are linear)
350Z drop .7"/.6"
G35 coupe drop 1.2"/1,1" (non recommended for use with oem shocks unless car was delivered with 19" wheels)
Spring rates in LBS 386/402 (estimated front intial rate is 327lbs)
