Default Just lowered my car with Eibachs and have a Question...

hi guys i have a Enthusiast Z and i just lowered it with some eibach springs and was wondering if i needed to do anything as a result of my lowering? (with regards to TRACTION CONTROL??) Does anything need to be reset or recalibrated??

i put 19" GT-7s on it as well will post pics tonight.

YES these wheels are the nicest i have ever seen and i am one of the first to have them in california. Only 8 sets currently in california.

any one know what i have to have done to my car after lowering it ??

any help will be appreciated

from what i've read, you should have a 4 wheel alignment done in a couple of weeks after the springs have fully settled.

i lowered my car with sprint lowering springs (1.8 inches all around) a few weeks back. i took it in for an allignment this past week and everything was still fine. all the specs were still correct. no change needed. but, yes, get it done anyway. if they don't change anything...they don't charge you (well, at least they didn't charge me).

Considering you have an Enthusiast model, I wouldnt worry about the VDC

Looking forward to the pictures!

You should have your camber checked as well- I don't believe that the 1" (approx) drop on the Eibachs messes with the camber too bad- but a 1.8" drop on the Sprint might have thrown your camber close to -2 degrees of camber. When I installed my Tein set up I dropped the front about 0.75" and the rear about 1.75" I had to get the camber corrected in the rear. There is a very limited amount of correction that can be done w/o a camber kit but they were able to get mine back to -1.

everything was still within the correct limits. camber was fine. i still have the printout in the car...i will post the numbers when i get home...and you can tell me if they are ok. at the place that did the alignment...everything was in the "green" and it said it was "correct". but, machines can be off. i'll post the numbers....you tell me if it's ok.

thanks,
djk

Are you guys taking the car to the Nissan Dealerships to get alignments done after modding springs/wheels? Or what kind of places are you taking your car to get aligned? I'm not sure if the place that will install my wheels can do an adequate job on alignments. Any advice or experience in this area would be much appreciated.

i just took my car over to the sears auto shop near me to get the allignment done. i used to take my honda there when i needed to get the road/winter tires swapped and alligned and whatnot.
