just wondering WHY the Cobb swaybars and Hotchkis swaybars have the same stiffness settings per hole??? they look identical excep for color only.

why does the Cobb spring drop Not look as low as it should?? with 3/4 in the front and 1 inch in the back it should be ALMOST tucking tire! but the drop looks no different than the hotchkis!

infact as far as the swaybars go..who is copying whom?

Side note - After having had this setup on for several days, I can tell you it feels amazing. In standard driving, ride quality feels stock, not harsh at all, but when I corner, I can feel a HUGE difference. It's incredible. Couldn't be much happier!

doesnt look all that much lower. take some pics now, maybe the car hadn't quite hunkered down on the new springs yet?

If you were to buy this stage 2 kit or just the spring, for race/track, I don't think you're going to be wanting a slammed car. The last picture does look a little lower, and with a lip and some side skirts you'll be close to the ground.

I'm really looking forward to purchasing this kit.

Also, would we need a camber kit to correct for the 1" drop in the rear?

All in all, Good job Cobb.

im fairly certain I just creamed my pants.

well im running 265/40's all the way around so it should look a little lower with those than the stock 225/245/45's. i was really surprised how much taller the 265's were when i first got em...didnt think they were gonna fit. Does the car feel a lot snappier and hooked up? got a better feel for the road and what not with the Cobb kit on? and yeah does anyone know if its gonna need camber correction droppin it 15/16ths or whatever out back?

those springs are linear

they dont need to settle..

progressive springs such as eibach do!

iv'e purchased many springs in my life and have NEVER seen any of them SETTLE!

BUT....they look identical to the hotchkis drop....

maybe buy hotchkis since they are cheaper??

The car feels a lot "snappier" now. Much more responsive and tight. Ride quality is still great too.

sounds pretty goood. those 19's? if so I guess I wont have rubbing issue with 265/40-18's. but will the camber need correction?

Nah just buy hotchkis cause it's 100 bucks cheaper for the whole kit!

the hotchkis sways arent quite as stiff...they dont go to 190% out back or 140% up front. the rear spring rates on the hotchkis springs are about 140 pounds softer....and about 30 pounds softer up front.

so really, we just clearly need a shoot out, gotta use the same exact car, run both setups on which ever springs they are designed for... and see who's gets the fastest lap times... we all could use another good video!

No matter the outcome, Cobb is still a welcome addition...
Hey, who can complain about a little competition in the marketplace?

Agreed. It seems like most of the existing springs were designed for the non-revised suspension anyway (much softer rates than revised on the rear).

I'm glad that we now have another set designed for the revised suspension.

I am still stuck between the Hotchkis and COBB. Although I am looking for better handling, but I have noticed in sweeping left hand corners, like my local rt 422 has, the rear feels like it is sliding slightly.
Ditto...theres a right hand sweeper near my house I can take at around 75-80...back end feels light the entire time...as soon as you get off the throttle the rear end comes out a bit, kinda nerve racking...Nismo wing do anything for rear downforce at those speeds by chance? lol
