i have an 06 with non brembo brakes, i am now at 13k miles and the brakes is starting to squeal not all the time ONLY when i do a lot of stop and go driving and after heavy braking. Im not really sure if that indicates i have worn pads.

 

Try measure the brake thickness and refer to owner's manual
