i've had Tien H-Techs for about 2 years, my rear shocks are leaking... started a few months ago. not sure if its because of the springs but i don't drive my car too hard, been to the strip once. might be from the few thousand miles with no hubcentric rings(never going back to discount tire) or might be my woofer box which is probably around 50 pounds. i'll probably be getting the D-Specs.... but i will probably only adjust it once which is a waste, Nismo S-tune suspension will fit my needs but it costs as much as decent coilovers, or i could just get a used set of stock shocks from the classifieds... choices

time isn't the biggest issue, its mileage and road conditions that they are subject to. Even on stock struts, at some point, they will need replacing, as they are a wear item.

no one can really say - it's all down to how you drive and what the suspension is subject to on a daily basis.

Thanks for reply. I am thinking lower an inch all around. I just need to find a right coilover.

if its not leaking, the only other way to tell is to remove the strut from the car, take off the spring and compress it by hand and see it it rebounds. When shocks go bad, they tend to compress and rebound very very very slowly, or not at all. The car also gets very very sloppy on the road, literally hopping over bumps

I had the mono flex set up on my integra and she wasnt my daily driver mainly canyon runs but i did take her cruising once and a while and i would say it is one of the best set ups if you are leaning more toward the heavy cornering coming out of turns quicker but ride smoothness is taken away from quite a bit. My buddy who installed them owns a EVO MR and he was blown away by how well my integra handled =) go with the basic if your not looking for the extreme set-up it will suit most of your needs and still be comfortable.
