Default Rear right toe problems with SPC arms

Hey everyone. I'm trying to diagnose a problem with my rear right toe. First of all, here is my suspension setup:

- Eibach Sportline springs
- Tokico DSP-9
- SPC Front camber kit
- SPC Rear camber kit w/ toe bolts

I took it to a specialty alignment shop (Crabtree Bros G12 in Sacramento) and they got all the specs I wanted dialed in except the rear right toe. According to the spec sheet, the nominal toe in the rear should be 0.075in. They were able to get the left side to 0.08in but the right is at 0.33in. This is with -1.1 camber on the right.

They adjusted the toe bolt all the way in and thats the lowest toe number it gave (too much toe in). The tech said its possible the knuckle got bent during a curb crash. I got the car at 31K miles so its possible this may have happened. Any other variables that could be causing this? They didn't take out the bolt to see if it was extended. I'm pretty sure it was since it was using new bolts and the left side is within spec and plenty of room for more adjustment.

Any help is much appreciated.

When you had the toe bolts installed, did you elongate the holes using a dremel?

I verified with the shop and they said they elongated it. They've done a lot of these to mess it up (i.e. elongating it towards the right instead of the left on the passenger side). I also took a close look of the bolt and it was slid all the way to the left. It really ran out of adjustment. Maybe grinding it a bit more would fix it?

sounds like a damaged suspension component to me then, maybe the radius rod is bent, or the spring cup is damaged? Thats what I would check first, if its the subframe, you may be in trouble since its welded in

So I got a hold of the owner of SMA (Mike) and he said he would charge $55 to put it up on the rack and see if he drilled it correctly. If he didn't, then it would he would fix with no charge.

I'm just gonna check this out myself. Is it pretty safe to use the car jack then loosen up that bolt? I need to see if in fact he drilled towards the left to elongate the hole.

Well, what I meant is that its not easily removable, its welded into one huge piece that is difficult to remove, not just a single easily removable part like the radius arm or spring cup

I decided not to take it apart. From the photos, it does look like its all the way in. I had this theory that the suspension shop didn't elongate the hole correctly.

My next question would be, is it worth the trouble getting this fixed? I have a 0.33in toe on the right vs 0.08in on the left.

Right side spring bucket/toe adjustment. Does it look like its been elongated?

is that where they installed the toe bolts? becuase if they did, thats your problem. Thats the factory camber adjustment position, not the toe adjustment, its at the end of the spring bucket
