Please pass along the sites you buy from, $600 for all of that stuff is pretty low. SPC Camber kits front and rear will cost about that much, by the time you get them shipped to you. Springs, struts, camber kits will probably run you closer to $1000 to $1200 (if you do the work yourself), then you have to add some money in for getting everything aligned at a shop.

However, you do need to drop the whole thing 1 to 1.5 inches to give it a nice look, IMHO.

Wow! you guys are great!

350z ...now THAT is one sweet ride...what's the rear wheel width and what rear tires you using? Pretty sure you had the fenders rolled, correct?

Like they say a pic is worth 1k words.

Your wheel gap is not that bad IMO, you'd have to be borderline compulsive to even worry about it so much. Im happy with my stock height, i'd rather be able to drive how I want, then worry about speed bumps and driveways.

Don't listen to this old man. You can get a nice subtle drop w/ hotchkis springs just like me. If you keep scraping everywhere, that means you need to learn how to approach the driveways and speed bumps at angles.

Proper on a sports car does not equal progressive. Several choices may be progressive, but that does doesnt mean we should be in the business of compromising performance and at the limit car behavior. Unless just all about the look and your not into the sport car thing.

Tokico D-spec

Tein S-tech

No camber correction should be needed, right at the limit for drop amount vs alignment numbers off the rack.

I had my reservations about lowering my 05 on stock rims, I figure I might as well do it before I get some wheels...Love it lowered though even on the stockies

Gotta a deal for Eibach Pro Kit installed + fenders cut for $360.
Local shop specializes in lowered/modded cars give you lifetime alignment for $85.
Total $445...good, bad, ok?

Thanks again for all the great info!! Much appreciated!!

Hotchkis springs then, drop is subtle and rides better than stock while improving handling.

Not a fan of progresive springs, but if I had to I'd get prokits before GF210's.

You guys have me convinced...it'll be dropped!

Considering the Eibachs (1") or the Hotchkis (little less), not a fan of "slamming" it , plus, it's my daily driver.

Anyone with past experience with either of these?

Hello friend,

If you are going lower it, do it RIGHT! I did try multiple combinations before settle for coil over. I try the Tananbe springs, Nismo suspension, Tein FLEX, Tein CS, and HKS RS. For the street the best one in my opinionn is the HKS RS!!!!!!

Old man? I'm probably younger than you! And you shouldn't have to "approach" driveways and speed bumps at anlges. I've seen some Z's with 19x9.5, 19x10.5 not dropped that still look tight!

Do it you wont regret it. I'm not sure about that 285 tire in the rear. I was gonna go 285 in the rear. I have 20X10 though. I think it should clear, but I was skeptical about doing it. I lowered my ride with Eibach Prokit. 1 inch drop all around and love it.
