Maybe I am a cheap bastard but that is an insane price for bushings. My entire current 'mods' list in my sig cost just a hair over that, installed!

I know 350Evo is a small setup and costs are high but $1850?!? THEY ARE BUSHINGS. I have never seen performance bushings higher than $360 for a complete set and those were for BMWs. (and most decent bushing sets are more like $160)

So okay, these are special, boutique even. So one *might* expect to maybe have to pay ten times what performance bushings normally cost. That is still nuts but hey they're home made. That still puts you at $500.

I don't know. Maybe I should try and find a sponser then these prices won't seem so high.

350EVO is a race division making and selling true racing quality/performance parts. The parts are not "home made" they are precisely designed and crafted using the latest in technology and then tested in the real world on the race track. They have racing industry experts working on their parts. Plain and simple, they make some of the highest quality parts we will ever see available for our Zs on the street. What I think is great is that we actually have access to these parts and can purchase them if we would like. Some companies might make similar parts, but no one actually compares in the quality/performance area. Just take a look at the front A-Arms, which are a work of art and have fixed my front tire wear issues. Yes, you will pay for their parts, but you get what you pay for.

Exactly! They even state they have "racing" versions of the parts. So why such a high price for the non-racing version??? It's nutty!

And we're not talking about front A-Arms man, we're talking about BUSHINGS! B-U-S-H-I-N-G-S. Pieces of simple material in a simple shape.

Again I would be willing and expect to pay even ten times what the normal ones costs. For such race born and tweaked technologies. But this, this is just stupid.

Nothing against 350Evo, I love watching them race and they are good guys. They just need to reword what they are selling. It's not for even the boutique 350z racer. What they are selling is for sponsored, full time racers. Even for the so called "non-racing" parts.

For one this thread is two years old and the prices are not right as they were pre-production prices. The actual price of the Sperical bearing set is $1475 from their site and from the previous posts from BJ the busching sets (Delrin or Poly) are race quality or street quality and they are priced accordingly. I have not seen the busching sets on their website so not sure they even decided to sell them or offer them to the general masses. The pre-production price of the "race" quality buschings alone was $700 as stated by BJ in previous posts with the "street" quality buschings costing less. The Spherical Bearings are what cost more and rightfully so. If you don't want them, don't buy em! There are a lot of parts for this car on the market that seem outrageous when compared to other vehicles and the modding scene, but I would always feel good buying true 350EVO parts because I know they are the best available for my car.

I have been watching this kit closely since I first purchased my car. However, the price is a bit steep considering the parts you are purchasing. If it went down in price a bit more, I know that I may be the guinea pig

I have been thinking about the 350EVO kit ... and then -- >> bam .. NISMO/Japan just came out with a new suspension bushing kit for the Z/G ..

Total of Yen 12,100 = $ 110 approximately.

NISMO claims sharper handling, cornering, & grip .. if the whole kit is installed. I went in to talk with the NISMO rep last week .. but he only knows about this kit -- no direct exprerience other than what is on the NISMO site.

I have a nismo bushing set on order and will put in ASAP
I really wanted a more hardcore racing bushing set like 350EVO's delrin set or even some of the spherical bearings that 350EVO used to sell, but they are completely out with no plans to ever make any more. So I'm settling on the nismo

the people who have the nismo bushing set say that it makes the car feel a little more confident with handling. That you feel what the car is doing more and it's more responsive since the bushings have less flex.

It hasn't sounded like a super huge change though. I know people in other cars that have gone with a full polyurethane or delrin bushing kit and have had the @#$^#@$%@%!!!!!!!!! reaction saying how much more responsive the car is and that it's just unbelievable with handling ...too bad the only thing out there is the nismo kit
