Need help for suspension set up(tokico ,bilstein
I am in the market for a set of shocks , i am happy with the oem height hence i think i will keep the spring, unless you can give me a good reason not to keep them.I need something perform better than oem shocks , i drive spiritedly and like to take corners and son on, i am not happy with the oem shocks as the feeling is weird and the ride is uncomfortable, besides i have no confidence taking corner since i own a 350z. May you kindly recogment me a set up, i don't see track at all may be once a year. I have billstein and d sepc shocks in mind. which will perform better with stock spring? unless there is a reason for me to change the spring( is there a life expectancy for the spring as my car is about 30kmiles do i need to change them?) I need something that make the car sportier and more a live and slightly more comfortable than oem or the same ,cheers
Not too familiar with the shocks available for the Z, but I do know the others.
Springs don't just go "bad," unless they rust and crack to ****, which I have never seen or heard of happening.
Judging by your driving characteristics, I would suggest getting lowering springs as well. They would make the car lower to the ground thus lowering the center of gravity and improving your handling.
You can also look into coil-overs, but those can run an average of about $1,000...lol
You should also look into f/r sway bars and f/r strut bars for even tighter and more controlled turning.
