after you do this, can an alignment get the rear "back to spec?"
or will you need a camber kit?

i got tein s-tech's, and after we roll the rear fenders, i'm doing this mod for sure.

From the looks of the rear, it definitely needs one. You also have to remember about adjusting toe as well. Well, I just ordered a rear camber/toe kit. I'll let you know right after I get it installed.

I did this mod and regreted it, if you still gonna be on stock shocks i say "DONT DO IT"!!! you'll be bouncing on the road like crazy cause you're pounding on the bumpstops.

Must be just me but it looks like the rear lower valance is lower in the rear vs the front. The fender gaps match but is the rear of the car actually lower than the fronts?

Anybody experience a drastic amount of understeer or is this just something you assume will happen?

I've been running mine with the springmount mod for about 15k miles. I have not experienced any problems on stock shocks.

You guys can really get a little out of hand describing the ABSOLUTELY DEVASTATING EFFECTS of dropping the car a half inch by cutting the springmounts. Give me a break.

Agreed.

ZOMFG!!! DO NOT DO THIS MOD. I REPEAT, DO NOT DO THIS!!!!!!!
I cut 1/2" off my bumper block. The next day my wheel fell off while I was driving on the freeway, doing 150mph. My car went over the guard rail and flipped 50 times!
