if you looking for just get springs then
Hotchkis or Hotchkis TVS, or Tein S-tech or RS*R( not sure )will be fine.

but depend on cars..every 350z different

so but most of 350z get back into spec with those brands.

I got Hotchkis and didn't think it was low enough and wanted to switch out to GF210s but got a kit and now it's better. I'd go with the GF210s if looks is more important. The hotchkis will perform a bit better with the stock shocks vs the GF on stockers.

This is the deal with the Z (anyone with more Z-specific lowering experiences correct me if I'm wrong).... The front suspension is pretty much unadjustable on the Z, and the rear is not terribly adjustable from the factory.

When you lower a Z with a subtle drop (e.g. hotchkis) it is rare you will need any sort of camber kit. A little bit more of an aggressive drop (1") you may run into camber issues, mostly in the rear. Not a big deal! Rear camber kits can be found cheap. Megan Racing has camber arms for $150ish.

When you get into the realm of a +1" drop, your camber in the rear will rarely-->never be able to get back into factory with the stock equipment...you will need camber arms...maybe even toe bolts to fix that issue. AND, from my research, you will need new front adjustable control arms to get the front camber back into spec because the factory arms are non adjustable. Many of the arms available allow you to dial in negative camber in the front // \\ , but since you already have too much of that since you dropped your car, you need ones that will give you more positive camber adjustability \\ // to get it back into spec. I have heard people modifying the Cusco arms to get them to go more positive, but the only ones that I personally know of that are great quality and adjustable enough out of the box are the 350evo arms = $$$

So it's not just as simple as buying $200 springs and dropping your car. Also too, if you go too low, the stock shocks/struts just aren't going to hold up. If you just want springs with little problems...go with a .75" - 1" drop at most.

I lowered my e36 BMW about 2" and only had to get rear camber arms. However, the lowering springs did my stock shocks in (that were old anyway), so I got Bilstein Sports. All said and done my suspension on that car (though it needed replacement) cost $1000 (springs, shocks, arms). It all started with a dream to drive a slammed ride ...and then $$! At least with the BMW the front arms were adjustable enough from the factory to handle a 2" drop....yeah, i don't get it either.

My Z? Not the case. Hotchkis for now...then slam her when I graduate and get some real money.

thanks for the info... I kinda guessed a little bit from the reading i've been doing latelly... I really wanted to go with TANABE GF210 which is 1" front and 1.2" back... but rethinking now I might go with EIBACH PRO 1" front/back. or just get TANABE GF210 and rear camber? cause i dont really care about the drop I want the car to ride confortable and more stiff on corners... on the top of that I'm getting new tires soon...

from those who I have talked to with the pro kit half have needed camber arms and half haven't. I guess it's car specific. Some people just suck up the added tire wear and attribute it with better cornering capability!

Irregular tire wear (from negative camber it will be the inner tread walls) occurs on both the front and rear tires depending on how aggressive the drop is. I'm not sure if this is the correct reasoning, but on RWD cars the rear wheels seem to be more likely to experience this as opposed to the front.

Tein Springs - they make 2 kinds:

H-Techs

S-Techs

I just ordered Today From Z1auto.com

Tanabe GF210 & SPC Camber/toe set,

if you getting a rear equipment to fix, you need toe too, not only camber.
so it's better go with SPC ( it comes with set)

and Z1auto has good price, i search everywhere, but Z1auto had good price.

you might need camber for eibach's too, depends on cars tho

HOTCHKIS TVS - seem like that's what you looking for. ( not require camber/toe but depends on cars) it comes with springs and sway bar.

or just get coilover

you still get drop from both way. and better confortable then just springs

But, i rather get perfect drop first and save, and i will look for get more perfor on handling. I love to feel one by one, Plus I don't like combination.

It's Your choice, and Your 350Z,

Seem like you don't want to get camber/toe together, if i'm not right then sorry.

I think..

Tein H-tech < Tein S-tech < Hotchkis or RS*R (?)

If you are looking for just little drop then try look for those 3 companys, i heard some good thing
about those brand. ^^ hope it help.

you guys are the best... I'm leaning toward the tein s-tech, first cause its a well known brand and its not that big of a drop... and I'll match that with SPC rear camber kit/toe/whatever comes with it...

but of course when I get that installed I will need a shop to allign it right?
thanks everyone...

drive around for a few weeks, let everything settle, then go to reputable shop with up to date alignment equipment and have them try to get everything back into spec.

if the Z is not your daily driver, like mine isn't, wait a few hundred miles or so then go get it done.

Good luck!
