Tein S-tech people says, it drop give you more drop on front.
i guess that's why most people try go hotchkis,

i don't know about allign shop do that too,

i rather find small local shop ( which that you can deal some price and you can actually watch see what he is doing )

and even you go to allign shop, try go NTB or Firestone. actually they have good offer for allign. ( lifetime allign, or 1 year unlimited mile warranty. )

when i had Civic & RSX-s i took them to NTB always,
For my RSX-S i took NTB about 8 times in a month? cuz the H&R springs had some problem issue with RSX that time, so keep fixing fixing and take it take it allign hahahaha NTB tech guy was like " damm what you doing with that car???"

" even Same Company Different people, even you have life time warranty, some shop will tell you they can't do it cuz you put after market springs. but you take it to other same company shop, no problem haha " remember this and don't tell them you got aftermarket springs. anywayz they will kno but still, ^^
good luck

just ordered the SPC kit from www.z1auto.com, now I have to decide on what springs to get... this is driving me crazy. I used to drive an RSX before and the car had all kinds of aftermarket equip but when I got the Z I decided not to change anything cause it didnt feel right up till I started experiencing feathering issues... I also noticed that everyone is going aftermarket after that. right now I'm going to my 3rd set of tires in 14 months and driving (30k miles)... unbelieveble!!

feathering??? on an 06??? those tires BETTER be covered under your warranty....all 3 sets! AND the dealer should have given you at least one free alignment for that crap.

I have an 04 and have feathering. I have been through it with like four dealers about this $%#* issue. They all said there was nothing they could do and "Nissan has no solution to fix it...sorry." They said if I had come a month earlier I would still be under warranty and they could have given me free RE040 Craptenzas and an alignment. woot! woot! ...NOT.

I am getting the hotchkis springs pretty soon, wearing down the stock bridgestones til they are BALD, and then looking into new tires. I cross rotated the fronts too see if it would get rid of the feathering (and so i could get better life out of the stock tires) and it did help for a short time, but now it's back. I have 23k on my Z on the stock tires. That is very good tread life considering the tread rating on them. At this point I don't even care about feathering. As long as I am getting at least 20k out of my front tires they can feather all they want.

I do hope the hotchkis drop will take care of it though. That would be nice.

My plan of action to combat feathering (maybe this will help others, but it's already posted like 10000 times)

1) cross rotate front tires + get an alignment (it'll prolong the front tires' life a bit more, but won't solve the feathering)
2) get new tires if need be (some people claim that a new set of tires besides the potenzas got rid of the problem)
3) start going aftermarket with the suspension (in my case, a hotchkis drop) to change the suspension geometry and hopefully get rid of the feathering. Then get an alignment after springs "settle" (seat).
4) idk...sell the thing.

Congrt!!

You should order all together, so you could save some Shipping cost.

well some has free shipping~

And i guess you need to get allign once a while and balance your tires. I'm getting rear tires from discounttire. still okay with front tires. ( still stock )
and i have 40K miles. lol
