I love how the Z handles now, but I would also love to drop my Z a bit without further modifications such as altering caster camber plates. It would be great if I can find springs that will maintain the stock ride quality, but I'm definitely not looking for track-stiff springs. I would like to drop the Z noticeably yet getting the same ride quality as stock... Is that even humanly possible? I'm not interested in getting shocks or any other parts to dampen the Z.
I've heard of Tein S. Tech's being a good choice. Any others out there? I tried using the search function, but none came up to answer my question fully.

I went with Tein S tech like someone said ealrier .7 & .6. I love the ride, pretty much the same as stock. But at this height, the shocks were designed to work at stock height, so dont be surprised if they do go out earlier then expeted. here is a pic of the car with stock rims 19 volk sf's on the 30-90 day wait. damn

From a personal aspect, go with Hotchkis. Go with the sways to. Great kit. You will be glad you did it. Rides like stock and with the sways greatly reduces body roll. Good chance you won't need an alignment, but needs to be checked. Every car reacts differently and depending on the current alignment spec plays a role. And will be a noticeable drop.
I've currently have moved on to the Eibach prokit (1") drop. More subtle for myself. But that's where you really start to run into aftermarkit suspension kits. Hope this helps?

I had the RS*R springs. The drop was noticeable and the ride was pretty good. However, since the stock handling is good enough for you, but comfort is also important you should look for progressive springs. They give the best of both worlds.

The best bang for the buck setup, without question, for those who want to improve the looks and handling, is the Hotchkis TVS set (springs + sways). You cannot beat this setup with a stick!
