i would do the mod after the springs because you get to see the drop in person, also the one Z pictured above is am 04. the suspensions sit differently in 05-07 Z's.

According to the FSMs for each year the height has remained unchanged.

Like you aren't going to install them anyways...be sure to measure before and after. Only way you and we as a forum will know what the actual drop is compared to the advertised number.
