Default Coilover advice/help

Fairly new to the "coilover world" so I need some help on deciding between:

1) KSport Kontrol Pro
2) D2 Racing

For a daily driver 2007 Coupe, any stories, advice, tip, suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated!!

i had K-sport in my AE86 last year and I hated it. I swapped them out for swift springs and illumina shocks. I say go with RS-R coilovers

I understand that your suggesting opinion's based on what you feel that you can pay. But no one can really offer you any real help without clearly understanding what you want.

I'll tell your right now, unless you have dull senses and don't have a clue about what bad behavior is, buying inexpensive coilovers is setting yourself up to get just that, it's a great car do you really want that? If you can expand your budget to at least $1600 or so, it will make a big differance. BUT, only once you tell us what you want out your suspension.

i have buddy club racing specs. on my g coupe and i love them. 15 way adjustable. also its the "true rear coilover" setup. before i had tein 350z h techs, then 350z s techs. i'd prolly never go back to buying just springs.

Looking at the choices it looks like you are trying to stay under $1300? Is that correct?

If so I have heard that Stance coilovers for performance and looks do the trick and are price around $1200.

I have heard a lot of bad things about the Ksports as I was considering them.

Max drop on KSports I believe is 2.5 inches all around... Correct me if I am wrong...

Which on the Z would be on the ground, but I have heard that the max drop setting causes issues with these coilovers...

I dont have the Ksports but I have heard bad things about them...

For the price I would go with Stance personally. I am looking for close to a 2 inch drop and I have heard that the Ksport strut bottoms out at that drop...

I think the search tool on this one would be helpful to read the reviews on the Ksports...

Wow! Thanks all for the great advice and info..MUCHO appreciated!!

My car is a 2007 base coupe, cars has:

Volk GTS 9.5x19 / 255/35-19 / +17 offset (F)
10.5x19 / 285/35-19 / +18 offset (R)

Otherwise bone stock.

I am looking for a 1~1.25 inch drop rear and a .5~.75 inch drop front or maybe a 1.0 inch drop all around.

I don't have plans to track the car at all.

This is how the car currently sits

Well if it helps my car right now is dropped on Tanabe GF210 which is approx. 1.25 inch drop and you can see how my car sits. Same tire sizes as you except 275 in the rear.

Hope this helps for a visual...
