Default suspension for car w/ aftermarket stereo

for all of those with a considerable amount of extra weight in your car from after market stereos ( multiple subs, amps, fiberglass enclosures, sounds deadening etc), is it necessary to go with a coil over setup to be able to make adjustments for the added weight or does a set of lowering springs handle the extra weight? i'd say i have an extra 200-300 lbs in the car most of which is in the back. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Oh and Happy Turkey Day to everyone.

i would believe springs would still make you handle better, but coilovers would be amazing... but coilovers are usually always better than just springs.
