Can't go wrong either way, but I vote black over red since everyone has red.

I'd go with black. The whole idea of painting them red probably came from seeing so many red calipers. Keep them black. Why change it if they look good anyway? If you do decide to paint them, make sure the powdercoating can withstand the heat and abuse that brakes go through. Chipped, peeling red with black underneath is not exactly clean.

Yeah good point. I was going to go with the red SL6R radial mounts originally but these are the SL6 lug mount and they only make them in black (still looks clean I think). I will probably just keep them black for right now, just wanted to see what everyone had to say if i decide to change it up in the future. I wouldn't paint my stock calipers red but I figured since these are 6 pots it wouldn't be too "rice" to powdercoat them red

Anyhow, thanks for the input guys.

the only problem with black is they get hidden and you dont see them, the reason why lambos calipers come in yellow silver and red is because they want peopple to see them.

Buying brakes for people to see = sofa king ghey.
Buying brakes for added performance = smart purchase.

And, red brakes on a mostly silver & black car = ???

I think either way its gonna look good. I voted red though, they are nice calipers and should stand out. The black looks good as well, like you said "stealthy"
