form and function setup??
I just finished installing a set of form and function type 2 coilovers.
does anyone else have these? if so how did you set them up??
I spoke with the owner of the company and he said if i drive down there he'd help me set it up but its kind of a far drive, so I'm holding up on that offer for now.
any suggestions or set-up tips would be appreciated.

12k front 8 k rear. i started at all soft knowing that i could always go harder. but i was more curious about the initial setup as far as height is concerned. the owners manual didn't come with a basic starting point so i was a bit confused. maybe i should just pay to have a professional corner balance it.
i have the same spring rates. i believe these are "true" coilover rears? with the spring and shock together i mean.
I have Stance. I've been trying to get my car even as well. Any luck yet?
i made sure all preloads are the same, then measured the length of each one to make sure they are the same. I havent found a level floor anywhere, so i dont know if its even all the way around.

no its not a true coilover in the rear... my rear just feels like everytime i hit a little bump he back of my car feels like a jackhammer. the fronts feel great though. i was under the impression that i was supposed to adjust the struts to lower my car. i am starting to think it is the spring adjustment controls the height... any info in that regards??

In the rear where the spring is located in the lower control arm you adjust the spring seat to raise or lower the car. You adjust the length of the dampner to maintain proper dampner piston stroke, which also in turn acts to set spring preload. Setting the rear dampners too long in a effort to gain height would be a very bad thing, little to no piston stroke or travel, what your feeling now may be because your riding hard on the rear bumpstops, very bad thing if thats the case.

thanks for clearing that up. i set the front up like you mentioned and i have come to realize my mistake in the rear. i will be adjusting it as soon as i get home. hopefully i will enjoy the coilovers more once they are properly setup. thanks again
