Default brake pads

Hey guys,

just bought myself a stoptech stage 2 brake kit ( non brembo ) but the vendor says they no longer have the axxis brake pads. They refunded me my money just for the pads and i can now choose a different set. I did a search and found a few threads but there wasn't a unanimous brake pad that stood out that everyone seemed to agree on and love. The ones i came across that were favorable were hawk hps, endless nuevo something or other, ebc green/ yellow/ red stuff? So i ask you guys now which brake pad would be good for stopping power / and low rotor wear.

Thanks in Advance

( If any vendors are reading this please shoot me a pm on any pads you favor and price shipped to 95129 if available. )

I've been wondering about this too. I'm wanting more aggressive pads, something that will provide great stopping power with no fade but WONT eat up my rotors and that last about as long as the OEM's have. I havent seen the Ferodo DS2500's dont come in 06' front sizes >.< what are my other options for the 06' Calipers? sorry for thread jack

i was looking into this the StopTech Stage 2 kit as well and looking for some pad suggestions. The kit offers the Hawk HPS pads but havent read a whole lot of good things about them.......

Main thing is no squeaking. next would be stopping power. third would be warping rotors.

I was thinking of sticking with the oem pads since i havent had any problems with them. Anyone know if this will work?

subscribing to the thread for options.

i did check out the link posted above but its really opinions as far as autox. I dont think anyone mentioned anything about noise.
