Brembo brake
anyone thinking about up grading their brembo brakes? if u do then i'm wonder if u would like to sell urs to me...i'm interested to buy the brembo brakes from Performance package ppl....if anyone would like to sell theirs plz contact me altezzatypesh@aol.com thanks
I don't know, but I know this for sure.
If someone bought track, chances are that they will not sell their brembo brakes. And if someone got the track and decide to sell their brembo brake, which probably mean they got into a bad total wrack, then the brembo wouldn't come cheap at all.
In which case, you might as well get a set of Stoptech if you want front and rear. Or you can go for the AP 4 pot brake kit and keep the factory rear.
I honestly would of gone the AP 6pot front and 2pot rear (If there were a 2 pot rear for sale)
But then I got something else now...from Brembo
Why wouldn't people make some good rear kit, don't they know alot of people buy brake for puropse other then racing.

I priced the Track model Brembo's from Nissan. $1100 per each caliper, $400 per rotor (front). So thats $3000 just for the fronts. You can get larger calipers from Brembo or Stoptech with larger rotors(13.1 inch vs the 12 inch Track model rotors) for less than buying the Track model Brembos from Nissan (plus you get slotted and/or cross driller and stainless steel brake lines). Go with Brembo direct or better yet Stoptech (Same caliper yet Stoptech uses many different piston sizes to more accurately match the stock set-up on your car, thus eliminating or reducing excess brake bias). BTW, those prices I mentioned up there are rounded down. I have the exact numbers written down at home. OEM parts are ALWAYS more expensive. It's called gouge.
For that price, I would of gone with the 13.1 inch AP racing 4pot kit. Stillin sells it, I think it was $1,650 or so for that kit.
Yea, I know the rotor isn't as good as the Stoptech, I think the AP kit uses 1 piece cast rotor, while the Stoptech uses the 2 piece rotor (which is alot more expansive)...
But I think to get a caliper in black or red with the word "AP Racing" on it than "StopTech" make a huge impact on the "Bling" value of the car.
Again, I am not saying the AP Racing kit are better, but it sure looks alot better. Plus it is cheaper.
